Vendor Spotlight: The Grand Center for Arts & Culture ๐จโจ
The New Ulm Farmers Market isn't just a place to shopโit's also a place to create!
The Grand Center for Arts & Culture has been bringing free printmaking and book arts activities to the market, giving visitors of all ages the chance to make a unique art project to take home. Thanks to volunteer Skylar, each activity has been thoughtfully planned to inspire creativity throughout the season.
Located in the historic Grand Hotel building downtown, The Grand is a nonprofit arts center offering monthly gallery exhibits, live music on Friday nights, Creativity Camp for kids, and Cellar Pressโa historic letterpress studio. The organization was founded after Anne Makepeace purchased the building, recognizing it had been built by her relative, Philipp Gross, and envisioned it as a place where the community could gather and experience the arts.
One of their favorite parts of the New Ulm Farmers Market is connecting with people who may not have visited The Grand before.
Be sure to stop by their booth, create something unique, and discover everything The Grand Center for Arts & Culture has to offer. ๐จ๐
