مولوی ضیاءالحق کریمی، از چهره‌های منصوب‌شده توسط طالبان، در ماه قوس ۱۴۰۲ و پس از حدود یک سال فعالیت در سمت ریاست دانشگاه بلخ، به‌دلیل افشای روابط جنسی خارج از ازدواج از مقام خود برکنار شد.
در این ویدیو که بازتاب گسترده‌ای در رسانه‌های اجتماعی داشته، کریمی در پاسخ به پرسش ماموران می‌گوید زن یادشده برای دریافت کمک به خانه‌اش مراجعه کرده است. با این حال، ماموران هنگام ورود به منزل، او را زیر تخت خواب کشف می‌کنند.
