Let’s find and separate a cow together in real time!👩🏼‍🌾

Finding a specific cow out of a group of 70 is very difficult. Luckily, i know most of my cows, so i know exactly who i’m looking for! I noticed that this cow had a small abscess forming, so i separated him off to be jabbed and put in with the abscess group🐮

Hopefully, two jabs of antibiotics will be enough to completely treat him as i’ve caught it early🤞🏼

Nettex have very kindly sent me some of their Roto-Corona syringes to give to the calves. They’re designed for either newborn calves to support their natural defences, or young calves after stressful encounters such as transportation.

I chose to give one group of five calves the syringes to see if i notice any differences in the way they perform. I genuinely couldn’t believe how easy it was to give them to the calves. They must taste nice because they were all coming back for more!🐮

Episode 1 of halter training Bambi, Benny and Poppy🐮 Marie didn’t take part this time because she’d hurt her ear and was feeling a bit sorry for herself🙁

I’ve wanted to halter train my four calves for ages and have very kindly sent me two training halters. I think the calves are going to be training me rather than me training them🤣
