Ming Qian teas refer to premium Chinese or Taiwanese green teas harvested before the Qing Ming festival (April 4-6, 2025) - equivalent to the first flush of spring. These teas are highly sought after because the tea buds are tender, delicate and more nutrient dense after the tea trees and bushes have been dormant over the winter

Moonlight Beauty White Pu’erh is back in stock after a long hiatus 👏

Moonlight Beauty hails from Yunnan Province, China. The tea comprises the buds and leaves of the Menghai Big Leaf cultivar and was traditionally harvested in the nighttime.

This delicious tea is prepared similarly to our Fuding White Tea but has a much stronger and more robust taste than fresh white tea. The fragrance is sweet and the tea has fantastic body and smooth taste.

Moonlight Beauty is one of a kind! $8/oz and can be rebrewed over and over. It’s perfect for the cooler weather.

Our low-caffeine Jasmine White Pearls are also back in stock, for those who have been waiting. Our fragrant white pearls are one of our most popular Jasmine offerings. Just in time for the holidays.

Please note we will be traveling for 2 weeks. If you want your order sent before we leave, please order no later than this Sunday, Nov 10, after which, we will be back on Nov 27 to pack all your orders.

There are some fun new tisanes which make great hot and cold brews. If you love our Pistachio Puerh, be sure to try our Pistachio White Chocolate Rooibos or our fragrant Blueberry Maple Pancakes! We’ve also introduced Lazy Afternoon 2, an alternative to those who loved the original minty floral Lazy Afternoon tisane. It’s similar, yet unique with a bouquet of hibiscus blossoms, blackberry leaves, linden blossoms, lemon verbena, apple mint, and greek mountain tea

We have been quiet since we closed our location on Bayard St, working on
🍵 traveling & sourcing new teas
🍵 right-sizing our business
🍵 contemplating the future
🍵 looking to add value to our customers

Most recently we went to the amazing World Tea Expo in Las Vegas where we made some new tea friends and searched to find teas to add to our collection. We have been tasting a lot, looking for teas that are well-crafted with high standards of cultivation that will also stand up to multiple and different brews. Not every tea makes the cut, but we are pleased to announce we will be introducing a few select newcomers this year

As part of our commitment to bringing you value, Red and I are excited to introduce you to Sam, our new tea sommelier. Sam is extremely passionate about tea and will be featured in new content going forward, including taking you through the “how” and “why” of gongfu brewing, showcasing new teas and perhaps bringing some of his mixology talent to the fore!
