🇨🇲In all fairness, this has got to be the spine of the new Cameroon national team!

Andre Onana has to be re-established in his place and made to feel important as it's the case in Manchester United. It's not for nothing that he is the most valuable African goalkeeper and one of the most valuable in the world. Besides, he is a natural leader that can bring an extra gear.

In defence, Christopher Wooh is the present and the future. He is not yet the final product but he looks to be a step away from getting to that whole new new level and with the right management he can get there. He should be made to lead the defensive compartment already.

In midfield, there is a persistent gap in the defensive midfield position. That particular role is what stabilises the midfield territory and the team in a whole. This lad Carlos Baleba has the best profile for that role. He's quick, he's physical and he's smart. He can win an enormous amount of duels while breaking lines from defence to attack. He has said he needs time to settle down before joining the national team but how much time is that time? It's high time he came.

In attack, Bryan MBEUMO holds the keys. It should not be new. He will merely continue from where he left off before getting injured. He makes the attack tick with his pace, energy and quick wit.

These 4 should comprise the new spine. They should be made to know they shoulder more responsibility than the others in their compartments. They have earned it through their quality.
