Ingredients:
2 lobster tails, split in half lengthwise
8 large sea scallops, patted dry
6 tbsp unsalted butter
4 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish
Lemon wedges (for serving)
Instructions:
Prepare the lobster: Preheat your oven to broil. Season the lobster tails with salt, pepper, and a sprinkle of paprika. Set aside.
Broil the lobster tails: Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet, cut side up. Drizzle with melted butter and broil for 6-8 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and cooked through. Remove from the oven and set aside.
Sear the scallops: While the lobster broils, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the scallops with salt and pepper. Sear the scallops for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Make the garlic butter: In the same skillet, melt the remaining butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the lemon juice and parsley.
Combine and serve: Drizzle the garlic butter over the broiled lobster tails and seared scallops. Garnish with fresh parsley and lemon wedges.
Helpful Tips:
For extra flavor, baste the lobster with the garlic butter as it broils.
