Jerry from Northern Illinois Worm Farm is a seasoned veteran of Wilder Farmer’s Market, having been part of the community since the very first season. Some things just belong there, and Jerry is one of them.

At his table you will find worm castings, worm casting tea, and trellises — everything you need to grow stronger, healthier plants from the soil up. Whether you are building up your garden beds, feeding your roses, or training your climbing plants to reach new heights, Jerry has you covered.

He is not just selling products. He is part of this community and has been from the beginning. When you support Northern Illinois Worm Farm, you are supporting someone who genuinely cares about your garden and puts that care into every single thing he produces.

Come see Jerry at Wilder Farmers Market and pick up something that will make a real difference in your garden this season.

Your soil is a living structure and Jerry from Northern Illinois Worm Farm has dedicated himself to producing a premium worm casting product that works as hard as he does.

Every bag is thoughtfully packaged in breathable material to keep the microbial community alive and active.

Here is what the science tells us:

Worm castings are a living soil amendment packed with beneficial microbes, enzymes, humic acids, and slow-release nutrients that restore and strengthen your soil’s natural ecosystem.

The silica found in quality castings helps plants develop thicker, tougher cell walls — making them naturally more resistant to pests and disease without harsh chemicals.

Gardeners battling black spot on roses will appreciate that the beneficial microbial activity in worm castings has been shown to suppress fungal issues naturally.

Jerry also produces worm casting tea, a liquid extract that delivers those same nutrients and beneficial organisms directly to roots and foliage for fast, visible results.

This is for the indoor gardener, the backyard grower, the rose lover, and anyone who believes that caring for your soil is caring for your life.

It is a lifestyle, and it starts from the ground up.

Come find Jerry at the Wilder Farmer’s Market and see the product for yourself.

These beauties belong to my neighbor — their onions wintered over and are absolutely thriving! You may know them as Egyptian onions or Walking Egyptian onions, and honestly… they are a work of art. So sculptural, so unique. Nature does not miss.

Have you ever grown Egyptian onions? Drop a comment below if you have!
