Summer is here and Fresh to You produce markets are back!!!

Join us Wednesday nights this summer from 3-6pm starting tomorrow, June 3rd!

NEW LOCATION: Outside of the Fred Rust Ice Arena
547 S College Ave Newark, DE 19713

We will have lots of delicious spring veggies, some of which are pictured here!

Fresh garlic 🧄
Garlic scapes
Green onions
Salad Turnips
Daikon Radish (purple and white)

Come get your fresh veggies all produced on the Newark Farm at UD! We accept cards and cash!

While you’re here, stop inside the ice arena for your UDairy Creamery ice cream and take a stroll through the gardens at University of Delaware Botanic Gardens!

I 💙 UD Day is here!

As we rush around the farm trying to get everything planted and ready for the busy season, it is a great time to take a breath and reflect on all the amazing experiences we have had with our students!

UD Fresh to You exists to give students those hands on learning experiences that they will hold with them after graduation.. and we produce some delicious veggies in the process!

I 💙 UD because I get to do what I love every day while teaching and learning from students in and out of the classroom!

Happy National Farmer’s Day!

Farming takes dedication, hard work, and a whole lot of problem solving. Every day brings a new challenge, but we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Join us for our LAST sale of the year TODAY!

We will be outside of Townsend Hall today in conjunction with the UD Botanical Garden’s Houseplant sale from 4-7pm! Parking in the Townsend lot is covered for the duration of the sale!

We will have lots of ornamental and edible pumpkins and squash as well as some produce!

We will also have large straw bales for sale ($12 each) and can take orders for corn stalks (10 for $8)

Fall Sale TODAY! 11-6!

We are set up in the south side of the Fischer Greenhouse along with UDBG’s houseplant and fall plant sale!!

Parking is free in the Townsend lot all day!

Lots of pumpkins, squash, straw bales, corn stalks and some fresh produce!

All set up and selling in front of UDairy! We will be here until 6 so come now and get your veggies and your ice cream!

We will have most of your summer favorites, tomatoes, peppers, watermelon, zucchini, along with some new fall items! Winter squash, sweet potatoes and more!

Market Update: No market this week! With classes starting our students are working to get their schedules situated! We will be back most likely on a biweekly basis, more info to come!

We also have a fall decor sale on the books September 16th in conjunction with UDBG’s houseplant sale! We will have ornamental and edible pumpkins and squash, straw bales, and corn stalks among other fall produce! Watch this space for more details!

Market day is here!

We are watching the weather closely, but should be posted up at UDairy Creamery from at least 4-5:30pm tonight!! We will have lots of veggies including corn and watermelon! Come and see our almost 40 pound melon, and take it home if you wish!
