🐠Curious about tinned fish? Maybe a little intimidated? Come to my Tinned Fish Tasting event and try a wide variety and see what all the fuss is about! A ticket includes a taste of 9 different tinned fish, a variety of accompaniments, some educational materials and a tasting journal, and a glass of wine (or special NA bev if you prefer). Please call or email for a reservation so I can have everything prepared for your arrival. P.S. I’ll be open a little later on Friday 3/20 for reservations for the after work folks!

Woo, September! A month of anniversaries for me! Not only does it contain my wedding anniversary and the anniversary of the shop opening (5 years on 9/1!), but last week marked 18 years since I began my professional journey in cheese. This isn’t just a passing fad for me; I care deeply about cheese, cheesemakers, preserving traditional foods, people eating with intention, and investing in our collective culinary joy, one plate at a time. Anthony Bourdain once said, “You have to be a romantic to invest yourself, your money, and your time in cheese.” So here’s to the past 18 romantic years.
