Kastania Organic Olive Oil is located locally and continues to share our family’s organic Greek Extra Virgin Olive Oil with the area as we have for over 10 years. Sharing our family’s organic EVOO from Greece brings Penelope and Andrei much joy!
Kastania, in Greece’s Peloponnese, is the village Penelope Lagakos’s paternal grandfather immigrated from at the turn of the last century. She never tires of saying this, as it’s a source of pride. Andrei Constantinidi, Penelope’s husband known for attractive set-ups at events and his accent (Romanian yet ¾ Greek descent!) also really enjoys our loyal customers, Kastania friends & family, vendors and organizers of course whom we see many of at each market! This is a family started, run and growing business–exclusive & committed to being the healthiest known for our Liquid Gold.
We have won International awards in NYC, London, Canada & Japan for both our original organic versatile EVOO as well as our Premium Unfiltered. Now we are thrilled to add a medicinal organic EVOO to our selection. Very high in Biophenols, organic olive oil PHARMAKON helps support the body’s anti-inflammatory health, digestion, heart, mind & depression.
