Open! (A little late)
Thank you to the person that left egg cartons early, probably missed you by 5 minutes.
This morning we have lettuce (romaine, romaine in bags, loose leaf romaine, and butterhead lettuce), great for salads or use as shells for tuna, egg or seafood salads. There is the last of the Bok choy and Napa. Sugar snap peas, eggs, jams, garlic scapes, chard, kale, radishes, and small bundle of rhubarb (probably enough for a nice batch of muffins or breakfast bread, maybe enough for a small batch of strawberry rhubarb jam).
We will be open til 2:30 today. Stop in and say “Hi!”

Beautiful day! After 4 and 1/2 inches of rain it is great to have sun and low humidity! Of course the vegetables loved the rain so much, they are bolting. The bugs have also multiplied. Geez.
So we are having a slight sale. Of course if I run out of something, please see if we are home and it can be cut fresh for you. Please come to the house or barn. Dogs will bark and we will figure it out.
Today we have lettuce, radishes, garlic scapes, bok choy, Napa cabbage, chard, and kale. Salad also. Jams and jelly and eggs.
Come out and enjoy the day!

Thanks for all the friends and neighbors who braved it out on a somewhat miserable day. As you might imagine, we have some lovely greens (salad, romaine, napa cabbage, lettuce and kale) still looking fresh and wonderful, so if you find yourself in need in the next few days stop at the house and we'll set you up.

Ah! A beautiful day for the start of the weekend. Okay…it is soggy. But soggy day = crispy greens. The stand is open for your soggy day recipes. There is a variety of nice greens ( kale, spinach, bok choy, and Napa cabbage) for soups and stir fry. There is salad and radishes for the ones that will have their plans not changed because of the weather. Eggs and jams for the breakfasts. Don’t forget the romaine, great for that Caesar salad, burger topping, chicken salad, well I believe it is the best lettuce for just about everything.
The stand is open now and til 3:00. Stop on by for last minute greens and eggs.

Good Morning!
We are open this morning early and will be open until 2:00 this afternoon.
Today we are offering jams, eggs, romaine, salad mixes, radishes, spinach, kale, and bok choy(probably spelled wrong). Come on out for a visit.

Not certain how to start this one…Good frosty morning or Colder than I want it to be. Either way, the snowstorm took its toll on the farm. If you had a chance to drive by you will notice that, like Jay Yankey’s tunnel, mine is down as well. It is not a pretty sight. It will delay the spring planting a bit. I keep you posted.
