Ready for fresh veggies? Visit Norcross' Early Bird Farmer's Market on Saturday, May 20, 9am - 1pm. Plenty of familiar faces from the regular Norcross Community Market (which ramps up in June)....stop by the Early Bird for locally grown veggies, fresh made goodies, a Plant Sale & LOTS of super fun kid activities including a Bike Rodeo! Plus you can tour the huge school garden and see what's growing there....our Green Team will be on hand to welcome you!

GREAT opening day of the new market in Lillian Webb Park - mark your calendar for every Saturday this summer, 9am - 1pm.....lots of good things to shop for!

The farmer's market had an AWESOME opening day & these students from Summerour Middle School were there, campaigning for change in their school cafeteria! They're hoping to replace the current fruit servings (which at best, usually end up in the school compost bin) with "Mexican Fruit Cups" which are a delish blend of fresh fruit slices sprinkled w ground chili pepper (once the watermelons in the school garden are ripe, we'll add them to the cups, too!) Their petition will be used to show policy makers that this community supports kids who are inspiring healthy changes to the status quo!
