Today is the kickoff of the Peoria Riverfront Market! We will be here until noon today. We will not, however, be at the Downtown Bloomington Farmers' Market today but will be back on the 30th at both locations. Have a great Market day!!!

Marigolds are not just pretty flowers for the garden; they are great companion plants for many reasons. Additionally, they deter pests through their strong scent, which masks crop smells from flying insects, and by secreting thiophene from their roots, inhibiting nematode hatching. Marigolds attract beneficial predatory insects that feed on garden pests. They also suppress surrounding weeds via their dense root networks and natural allelopathic properties.
