Meet the Vendor: The Whoo(pie) Wagon

Some vendors bring a product. Others bring a tradition.

The Whoo(pie) Wagon has been spreading whoopie pie happiness across New England since 2008, but the story started years earlier when Mary and Chris Bandereck moved to Topsfield and were welcomed to town with a homemade whoopie pie from a neighbor. One bite was all it took.

Already known locally as "the cake lady," Mary began perfecting her own recipes, eventually earning a new nickname: "the Whoopie Pie Lady." Before long, what started as a passion turned into a business, and The Whoo(pie) Wagon hit the road.

We are excited to welcome Bitznpeace Farm back to the North Andover Farmers Market every Sunday throughout the 2026 season.

Located in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, Bitznpeace Farm proves that great things can grow in small spaces. Operating on suburban plots with a focus on sustainability, community, and quality, this small-scale farm is dedicated to growing food that is both beautiful and nourishing.

Their offerings change with the seasons, bringing market visitors everything from fresh vegetables and herbs to edible flowers, garlic scapes, rhubarb, free-range eggs, and other locally grown favorites. Meet the Vendor: Skona Pet Food 🐾

This week, we’re excited to welcome Skona Pet Food to the market.

What started in a home kitchen with two curious dogs and a lot of questions about what was really in their food has grown into a mission-driven brand rooted in nourishment, healing, and care.

Skona was born after noticing something many pet parents know all too well: digestive issues, skin sensitivities, and low energy that often trace back to heavily processed diets. Inspired by their own Indian household traditions, where food has always been seen as medicine, the founders set out to do things differently.

The result is Skona, a pet wellness brand built on real ingredients and real intention.

They began with simple, single-ingredient, human-grade treats sourced from trusted U.S. farms, with nothing artificial and nothing hidden. Meet the Vendor: Allpine Essentials

We are excited to welcome Allpine Essentials back for the North Andover Farmers Market for the 2026 season.

Behind Allpine Essentials is Shannon, whose journey into holistic wellness began more than 20 years ago after the birth of her son. What started as a commitment to making healthier choices for her family grew into a lifelong passion for natural living, nutrition, herbs, plants, and essential oils.

That passion took on even greater meaning after Shannon faced a series of serious health challenges between 2019 and 2021. Following a diagnosis of Breast Implant Illness and surgery in 2022, she turned to prayer, self-reflection, herbs, plants, and essential oils as part of her healing journey. Through recovery, she discovered a deeper connection to nature, wellness, and the beauty of living simply.

As her health improved, Shannon and her son found a new passion for hiking New Hampshire’s 4,000-foot peaks. It was during those adventures and the renewed appreciation for the natural world that Allpine Essentials was born.

Today, Allpine Essentials creates handcrafted products inspired by the healing power of plants and nature. From herbal blends and aromatherapy products to natural wellness essentials, each item reflects Shannon’s mission to help others support their health and well-being through simple, natural ingredients.

The North Andover Farmers Market returns on Sunday, June 21st, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for another season behind Town Hall at 120 Main Street.

To help you make the most of your market experience, here are 5 tips for a great Sunday morning:

1.) Arrive early for the best selection. Many vendors bring limited quantities of their most popular items, and early shoppers often get first pick of seasonal favorites.

2.) Bring a reusable shopping bag. Between fresh produce, baked goods, flowers, honey, handmade products, and more, you’ll be glad you did.

3.) Plan to stay awhile. Grab a coffee, enjoy the live music, meet the vendors, and take time to explore everything the market has to offer.

4.) Parking is easy. Free parking is available behind Town Hall and throughout the surrounding downtown area, making it simple to stop by and enjoy your morning.

Meet the Vendor: Allpine Essentials

We are excited to welcome Allpine Essentials to the North Andover Farmers Market for the 2026 season.

Behind Allpine Essentials is Shannon Petralito, a Certified Aromatherapist whose journey into natural wellness began during her recovery from surgery in 2022. What started as a personal exploration of herbs and essential oils soon grew into a passion for holistic health and ultimately the creation of her own business.

Drawing on her background in exercise, nutrition, and aromatherapy, Shannon founded Allpine Essentials in 2024 with a mission to help others discover the benefits of plant-based wellness. Today, she creates a variety of handcrafted products designed to support everyday health and self-care, including herbal salves, aromatherapy rollers, skin and hormone support blends, and even natural insect repellents for both people and pets.

One of the things we love most about the North Andover Farmers Market is the opportunity to meet the people behind the products. Every vendor has a story, and Allpine Essentials is a great example of how personal experiences can inspire something meaningful that benefits an entire community.
