After opening, if refrigerated they will last for up to two years.

We carry meat first bases as opposed to bases that have salt as the first ingredient. This isn’t just in the health conscious bases, but across our entire product line. The health conscious line of bases are low sodium and no MSG added "meat first" products. The bases dissolve easily in water to make stock, or can be used right out of the jar to add some extra flavor to foods.
