Peaches have bloomed and are now on their way to the 2026 crop.
Here are the apple blossoms from this weekend. At 75 tomorrow we will be getting close to the end of pollination. So far (not counting chickens before they show themselves!!), it's been a good season for us.

It is our last market of the season until July!
Come get some freshly pressed apple cider, Evercrisp apples, Applesauce and jams and jellies from our own fruit. Evercrisp is our primary apple on the menu this week! It is a cross between Honeycrisp and Fuji. Sweet, juicy and can have a complex tropical kind of flavor profile....think pineapple. The more yelllow the background, the more flavor you will taste. If you just like that juicy crunch then color doesn't need to be very yellow. Hope you all have gotten shoveled out and cleaned up this week. Please be careful walking to the market entrances tomorrow!!

We are open Friday through Monday 10am-4pm this weekend, and Friday through Wednesday the week before Thanksgiving. We will have lots of cider, apples, applesauce, baking mixes etc in our farm market. Come check out the sale of B grade apples already packaged.

Open 10am to 3 pm for picking and our store closes at 4:00.

Still picking Evercrisp, Granny Smith, Fuji, Crispin, Idared. In recognition of the days getting shorter, hours will change as follows:
Friday October 31, 9am-4pm for picking, market closes at 5pm
Saturday November 1, 9am-4pm for picking, market closes at 5pm
Sunday November 2, 10am-3pm for picking, market closes at 4pm
Monday November 3, 10am-3pm for picking, market closes at 4pm
Pick your own closes for the season after November 3.

Please keep the families and friends of our Jamaican employees in your prayers and hearts. They will be returning to some struggles.
We are open until Wednesday November 26.

Hours for November:
Friday through Monday 10am to 4pm
Open Veterans Day, and Tues and Wed before Thanksgiving.

Last weekend in October, that means its Evercrisp weekend here at Barden!! Evercrisp is a newer variety that is a Honeycrisp and Fuji cross. It is very firm, sweet and juicy. Still also picking, Granny Smith, Pink Lady, Fuji, Crispin, Idared. Some Macoun and Cortland are still on the trees...make sure they are firm before you pick them.

Sweet apple cider has awesome flavor this week. It's full of Honeycrisp, Gala, Macoun and Cortland this week plus a smattering of lots of others.

For this weekend, we decided that we would have cider doughnuts made by Cider and Spice out of Smithfield RI... Delicious and traditional cider doughnuts. We still have pumpkins for Halloween!!

The time is finally here… One of our customer favorites, Granny Smith, (aka the green apple), is ready for picking!!
We also have lots of Macoun, and Cortland, also Ambrosia, Liberty, Golden Delicious, Fuji, Crispin, Jonagold, and Idared.
We are open for picking during the week,
Mon-Thurs 9 am-5 pm with farm closing at 6
Fri and Sat 9am-4 pm wi Farm closing at 5:00 pm
And Sunday open 10 AM to 4 PM with Farm closing at 5:00.
This week’s sweet cider is so delicious and full-bodied.
