Here at Atlantic Spice we just love this basic Fowler’s Sugar Cookie Mix. With a few ingredients we all have in the kitchen you can produce some classic cookies in a short period of time. As the holidays approach, they can be adjusted with some warm wintry spices or left plain. Our resident baker always likes to add a splash of vanilla and a grating of fresh nutmeg.

The instructions suggest rolling out the dough and using festive cookie cutters.
Alternatively shape the dough into two even logs, wrap them in waxed paper or parchment and chill for an hour.
Slice into quarter inch rings. Bake on a greased cookie sheet or parchment for 10-12 minutes. Makes 26 2” cookies
