WE REGRET TO INFORM YOU THAT THE NORTHFIELD, MA FARMERS MARKET IS UNLIKELY TO OPEN THIS YEAR.

The extreme weather, increasing each year, including rain, high winds, and oppressive heat, has contributed to difficulties in retaining vendors. Those same weather conditions have led to fewer customers, making the market unprofitable and not worth the set-up time for crafters. Some vendors have aged out and younger people are not available on a weekday. Change to a weekend date is not an option since most vendors are at other, larger markets. In addition, the market manager is resigning.

Coyote Hill Farm, the main produce market farmers, invites people to visit them at the Bernardston Farmers Market, which they manage, on Saturdays from 10am - 1pm, starting the last Saturday of May. Interested vendors are also welcome to participate. There are also many local farm stores and stands in Northfield available for you to obtain fresh local food, flowers, and crafts.

Should anyone be interested in reinstating the market, please message me.
