Responsibilities include: greeting customers and taking their orders. Operating the slicer, weighing and packing the orders; operating cash register and processing credit card sales; responding to customer inquiries regarding items offered at the meat counter and assisting with selection recommendations as needed; maintain an organized and sterile work space.

Additional duties include: wrapping meat packages, making patties and trimming meat. Preparing packages for the freezer, along with placing them in the correct area; answering phone calls. Cleaning the work area and retail room as needed throughout the day, as well as at the end of the work day.

Excellent communication with customers and co-workers is required; open communication with management is mandatory. Experience in the meat industry is a plus, but not required. This job requires standing on your feet all day and having the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

We are open Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm and on Saturday from 8am to 2pm. Work hours will be discussed individually in an interview. Position is also posted on Indeed.
