African sculptures from the collection of Daisy Batson are also available.

The Nyack farmers market is also proud to have every week several minority owned businesses including: LA TALAYE, featuring the culinary creations of Chef Michelle Timothee, Food Is Med Farms with tinctures and spices from Muru, Fairy Juice Bar ™️ - popular healthy and delicious natural beverages and this week with his new Prince inspired Purple Rain tea, our regular Preston Powell will also take a turn on the wheels of steel.

Nyack Farmers Market’s Juneteenth observance on Thursday, June 18 features Preston Powell who will supply a sound track with a DJ and add a special Prince inspired libation to the Teagevity menu - PURPLE RAIN. This is what it tastes (and looks) like when matcha meets blue pea flowers, raspberries & lemonade and a splash of oat milk.

On Thursday, June 11, the “Global Rhythms Futbol Fest” launches at the Nyack Farmers Market to promote a village-wide celebration of global sports and culture and shared public experiences. Futbol Fest takes place on July 5th from 10 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and features soccer-themed programming, family entertainment, line dancing, performances, and a food crawl. From June 11 to July 19, the public is invited to gather at one (or more...) of over 20 restaurants to watch the matches together.

To welcome the spirit of the global world class competition to Nyack, Village of Nyack Mayor Joe Rand and Nyack Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Bill Batson will join Kazbek Tambi, Director of Coaching for Orangeburg World Class FC Soccer Academy in a friendly skills challenge.  

Kazbek Tambi is a former U.S. Olympic Team member, four-time Ivy League champion at Columbia University, and professional player with the New York Cosmos. A highly accomplished coach, he led the U.S. U-17 Women’s National Team to a World Cup silver medal and currently serves as Director of Coaching for World Class FC.

Global Rhythms Futbol Fest is sponsored Rockland County and I LOVE NY, and supported by the  Nyack Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Visit Nyack, and the Village of Nyack, this day’s festivities will feature family-friendly activities, soccer demonstrations, games for children, music, cultural performances, dancing, and opportunities for visitors to explore Nyack’s internationally diverse restaurant scene.

The pastures at Farm are bursting with rich green browse that the goat herd is happily devouring. All that fresh spring growth will soon become delicious goat milk, which Talitha will turn into fresh goat cheese. Stop by the market and taste the freshness of the season.
