From the pages of Greet Oakdale to 3rd Avenue! We loved having join us in person as last Saturday’s Market Partner and spend the morning meeting and chatting with market visitors.

Greet Oakdale is a free monthly publication that puts local residents and their stories in the spotlight. Each issue gives readers a chance to learn more about the people, families, and experiences within Oakdale, sharing stories created specifically for the neighbors who call this community home. 💛

🪴🎨 A little paint, a little planting, and plenty of creativity filled Kids Corner last Saturday! joined us for the morning as kids decorated terra cotta pots, planted their own succulents, and headed home with their creations. 🌱

A big thank you to for leading the activity and spending the morning with our market families! The Garden is a nondenominational church in Oakdale with a heart for serving and encouraging the local community. Through weekly gatherings, Garden Kids ministry, and opportunities for people of all ages to connect and grow in faith, they strive to be a positive presence in Oakdale. 💛

And of course, thank you to our amazing volunteers who oversee Kids Corner each Saturday and help make it a welcoming, fun place for families to gather and play. 🙌

Kids Corner activities are free every Saturday from 9–11 AM at the Oakdale Morning Market. Look for the big tent next to Bistro 120 or check the map on our site!

You may recognize this week’s Artist in Residence from behind the scenes at the Morning Market! Nancy Podolsky serves as our Non-Profit and Artist Coordinator throughout the season, and this Saturday, we’re excited to have her step into the Artist in Residence tent herself. 🎨

Nancy’s art journey began behind the camera, creating photographs that she transforms into painting-style images using apps on her phone and iPad. Her photo art has found its way onto cards, framed pieces, and more. In the past year, she’s expanded into acrylic painting, and this year she added watercolor to the mix, studying new techniques and continuing to explore where her creativity takes her. 💛

At the market, Nancy will be creating watercolor pieces throughout the morning and sharing a selection of her photo art, acrylic paintings, and new watercolor work, all available for purchase. Stop by the Artist in Residence tent this Saturday to say hello, watch her create, and see the many different ways she brings her art to life! 🎨🥳

Smooth vocals, rhythmic acoustic guitar, and a little indie R&B are coming to 3rd Avenue this Saturday! We’re excited to welcome back to the Morning Market stage for a laid-back morning soundtrack with plenty of soul. 🎶☀️

Téa Noelle is a California singer-songwriter, performer, and music producer who describes her sound as “indie R&B with a jazzy pop flow.” With warm, refined vocals and rhythmic acoustic guitar, Téa has performed everywhere from festivals and concert halls to coffeehouses, house concerts, and private events throughout California. When she’s not performing, she also works behind the scenes providing audio engineering for live music, podcasts, and theater. 🎸

🎨 It was great to have a familiar face back at the Artist in Residence tent last Saturday! .art returned to the Morning Market, giving visitors another chance to watch his incredibly detailed word-based portraits come to life and see his unique artistic process up close.

An Oakdale resident since 2019, Phil Vance creates portraits using his distinctive take on cross-hatching with words. From an artist’s lyrics to a couple’s vows or a person’s legacy, Phil transforms meaningful words into intricate portraits where the story becomes part of the artwork itself.

🎶 There’s nothing quite like live music filling 3rd Avenue on a Saturday morning! We loved having back on the Morning Market stage last weekend, bringing a feel-good mix of soft rock, alternative, and old and new country favorites to the market. 🎸☀️

With more than a decade of solo performing under his belt and a repertoire of over 150 songs, Jamie had plenty of tunes to keep the morning going. We’re so grateful he spent his Saturday with us and hope to welcome him back again soon! 🙌
