What an evening.

Our August Mountain Artisans Market was one of those nights that reminded us exactly why we do this.
Thank you to every vendor, artist, maker, nonprofit, musician, family, friend, and neighbor who came out and made the evening feel so special. Whether you stopped by a booth, discovered something handmade, danced with us, brought the kids, or simply spent the evening wandering Fresno Flats, thank you for showing up for our local community.

And a HUGE thank you to Justin for teaching us line dancing! There was a whole lot of laughing, learning, and figuring out which foot was supposed to go where, and it was so much fun seeing everyone jump in together.

One of our favorite parts of holding Mountain Artisans Market at Fresno Flats Historic Village & Park is getting to watch new families discover this place. In between the music, shopping, food, and dancing, people were exploring the historic buildings and learning a little more about the history of our mountain community.

Thank you for making our final evening market of the season one we'll remember.

And we're not done yet!

Mountain Artisans Market returns to daytime hours

We're currently looking for local vendors, makers, artists, small businesses, and nonprofits to join us for September. We'd especially love to welcome more community organizations and nonprofits who want to share what they're doing in the foothills.

One of our favorite parts of Mountain Artisans Market is that it isn’t just a place to shop local, it’s a place for our community to show up for one another.

The music you hear at the market comes from artists who live right here in our foothill communities, and today’s lineup is such a good example of that.

4-5 pm | Tarantulabanjo, from Bootjack in Mariposa County
5:15-6:15 pm | Kai Asmund, from North Fork
6:30-7:30 pm | Logan Casey, from Coarsegold
7:45-until the end of the night | Line Dancing with Justin, who teaches line dancing at the Oakhurst Community Center, is putting together a special line dancing class just for the market tonight!

Our last Night Market of the season is happening this Saturday, August 15th, and we’re ending it with a good one.

We’ll be back in September and October for our daytime markets, but for now… let’s soak up one more summer evening together.

PaperPie has been one of those familiar faces at Mountain Artisans Market, sharing a love of books, imagination, and learning with families throughout the Yosemite Foothills. Beyond the market, they've always found ways to show up for our community, and we're so grateful for the kindness and encouragement they bring wherever they go.

Some vendors become part of the story of Mountain Artisans Market, and Fantasy Oaks is one of them.

For years, they've been bringing their beautiful handcrafted goat milk soaps to our market, filling their booth with incredible scents and welcoming smiles. Whether you're picking up an old favorite or discovering them for the first time, there's something special about slowing down, smelling every bar, and finding the one that comes home with you.

We're so grateful to have Fantasy Oaks as part of our market family, and we can't wait to welcome them back for another summer evening at Fresno Flats.

We’ve been looking back through photos from our July Night Market, and it’s a wonderful reminder of why we started Mountain Artisans Market in the first place.

Every booth tells a story. Every handmade item represents hours of creativity and craftsmanship. Every musician brings their own style to the evening, creating the soundtrack for memories that families and friends make together.

One of our favorite parts is seeing familiar faces return month after month, while also welcoming people who are discovering the market for the very first time. That sense of community is something we never take for granted.

As August gets a little closer, we’re getting excited to gather again with an incredible group of local artisans, musicians, food vendors, and all of you who continue to support them.

We hope you’ll join us for another summer evening at Fresno Flats Historic Village & Park on Saturday, August 15, from 4:00–9:00 PM.
