Meet the families behind Diestel Family Turkey Ranch and Ferndale Market.

These two multi-generational producers are proving that turkey can—and should—be raised with deep care, total transparency, and long-term stewardship.

Diestel Family Ranch (Sonora, CA): Four generations of working with the land, leading the charge as the first-ever Regenified Certified turkey producer.

Ferndale Market (Cannon Falls, MN): Rooted in tradition, championing slow-grown birds, strict animal welfare, and independent family farming.

Together, they represent a more thoughtful approach to turkey production:

-Outdoor access with room to roam
-Rotational grazing and pasture-based practices
-No antibiotics or hormones, evers-Vegetarian feed
-Strong animal welfare standards
-Farming systems designed to support healthier soil and ecosystems

The result is turkey with better flavor, stronger nutrient density, and a supply chain built around quality from the ground up.

This is what it looks like when the whole system is considered. 🦃

Celebrating a shared commitment to quality with our partners at Shake Shack. 🤝🍔

From the ranch to one of the most recognized burger spots in the world, it’s about starting with beef raised with care, then letting it shine in its simplest form.

No shortcuts. No compromise. Just a burger built on better sourcing and thoughtful ex*****on.

Grateful to be part of the story, one patty at a time.

This month, we’re spotlighting our Senior Product Manager, Jacob Thompson!

A true man of many talents, Jacob brought 20 years of culinary experience, and a past life as a professional opera singer, to Cream Co. to help optimize how we buy, make, and move our products.

He’s holding a top-secret product relaunch he’s been instrumental in getting off the ground (hence the blur, no spoilers yet!). 🤫

Rooted in a multi-generational farming background, Jacob uses his unique harmony of skills to build a shorter, more sustainable supply chain that connects people to local agriculture.

When he isn’t shaping the future of food or bringing secret projects to life, you can find him tending to his garden of carnivorous plants or cooking up his favorites: Vietnamese fried quail, carnitas, and brisket.

Jacob continues to use his unique harmony of talents to help shape a more resilient food system at Cream Co.

What’s for lunch? 🍔👀

To celebrate our new partnership as Scolari's Good Eats primary beef purveyor, the team took a quick field trip to their Alameda spot, snagged a massive lunch spread, and brought it back to the office to devour.

There is truly nothing better than sitting down as a team and tasting the literal fruits (or, well, burgers) of our labor with partners who care as much about quality as we do.

Consider this your sign: Grab a pal, a coworker, or your dog and head to Scolari’s for some iconic local bites. You can thank us later. 😉
