A Mariposa garden is designed to build life above the soil.
It starts with native grasses creating shelter for pollinators, then builds upward through layers of nectar plants, shrubs, and trees that give both birds and butterflies food, water and shelter throughout garden.
Every plant has a relationship with something else. Every layer has a purpose. This is how we build every single garden at Mariposa.
