Hello from Guntur, Andhra Pradesh: the chilli capital of the world 🌶️

We stopped by the local chilli market on our last farm visit and… it was intense. Sacks and sacks of chillies everywhere, so many varieties, very little regulation—and chilli literally in the air. We were all coughing our lungs out within minutes 🫠

(thank god for the buttermilk that saved our burning throats 🙏🏽)

And yet… after all that, we still couldn’t find a Guntur chilli as good as ours. Ours comes from the lovely Narne farm where it is naturally grown, intercropped with several plants, and handled with incredible care — proof that sometimes true quality is found away from the noise ❤️
