Whew. What a night! We started at 6pm and ended at 6am with five little piglets, thanks to Ms Hildagarde, one of my *two* pregnant pot belly pigs! The dad, Kimchi, our Kunekune boar, was on standby nervously watching his girlfriend give birth. All five babies were tucked safe in their warm corner (not in the box pictured, that was just while I was gathering them and drying them) after nursing for a bit. Can't wait to see what genders we get on these cuties! At least one is double-waddled just like Dad! Special thanks to my brother for running me some coffee and pretzels rods and being on standby, a very important task that without I would not have made it through the night 😉

Canned up fresh chicken!! I tried adding some garlic, ginger, sweet pepper and a little bouillion. I didn't add enough water but that's okay. We'll see how it turns out. Today I'm jarring up some fresh boned-out rabbit with some mild seasonings. Can't wait to try these on a busy night!
