It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that I share the news of the passing of our beloved Deli Manager, Matt Drega.
Matt was more than just an employee—he was the friendly face and dedicated professional many of you knew and trusted for years. He took great pride in the quality of our deli offerings, always ensuring fresh selections, friendly service, and that personal touch that made shopping at Okie’s feel like visiting family. His commitment, warmth, and hard work touched everyone here and left a lasting impression on our community.
The entire team at Okie’s is grieving this tremendous loss, and we know many of you will feel it too. We appreciate the kindness and understanding you’ve always shown our family here, and we ask for your patience as we navigate this difficult time and make adjustments to keep serving you as Matt would have wanted.
