Who's thinking chickens? I plan to order bulk meat birds this season, and they will not be cornish cross! After a season of processing it seems that most people don't put their birds on a time table for slaughter. These guys do very well as freerange or enclosed. They don't tend to get rough as they come to weight
(even if they go over weight), and best of all taste great!! If you or anyone you know would like to get meat birds to raise, leave a comment. Price per bird will depend on amount ordered but will not exceed $2 per chick.
