The Veggie of the Week is Sweet Corn! 🌽

Did you know corn was first domesticated by native peoples in southern Mexico about 10,000 years ago?

In Mesoamerican and much of North America, Indigenous peoples have long interplanted corn squash, and beans in a complimentary agricultural system called "milpa" or Three Sisters.

Corn is high in fiber, vitamins A, B, E, K, magnesium, potassium & phosphorus.

Corn goes great with BBQ, seafood, salsa and much, much more! What's your favorite way to eat corn?
