World Fresh Int’l Market!

LOCATED IN THE CHATENAY SQUARE

We began our journey as a quaint Asian grocery store called Hong Kong Market with its primary focus on Asian foods and products.

Being very inexperienced with the Asian grocery business, it took an enormous amount of hard work and persistence to provide better products and services to our customers. We had to travel beyond the state lines to find more resources about the ethnic grocery business. In 2009, we recruited an expert in the Asian grocery industry, David Le. David who is a California native had the networking and expertise to help us. This is when things started to turn around for us. With David’s help we were able to bring in almost double the variety of products and lower the cost of many items. With this growth, we decided to rebrand our store as Saigon Taipei Supermarket.

As our business grew, we realized our customers were no longer only Asian-Americans. We began creating relationships with customers of many different ethnicities such as American, Hispanic, African, Filipino, Indian and Middle Eastern.
