Sand plums are almost ready ~ one of Oklahoma’s sweetest little wild traditions. 🌿
These tiny prairie jewels usually ripen through late June and July and make the most beautiful jelly, syrup, wine, and old-fashioned summer desserts. Tart, sun-warmed, and gathered from thorny thickets like hidden treasure.

Customers have been asking about tomatoes. Sammy has said that he has some very small tomatoes on the plants already. They will need to grow for about another month until they are ready to pick. When that happens, the plants will "flush" and there will be a wave of tomatoes, pounds upon pounds will be ready!

Before the tomatoes are ready, there will be cabbages, broccoli and cauliflower. Make sure to get your fill of cole crops before the summer sets in!
