Our bacon is from Steve's Meats in DeSoto, KS and in all of our blends, we use local honey and other local products as available. We're currently baking with honey from Santa Fe Trail Honey Farm in Raytown, MO. My granola business is a passion and side project...for now. I appreciate any and all feedback and suggestions as we grow to conquer the granola world!

Hi friends! We’ve had some new views which tells me someone is watching and waiting to get some more bacon, amirite? 🙃

After a LONNNNNGGGG hiatus, I resurrected the brand to gift a few bags to coworkers this holiday season. There’s a chance that 2023 finds me some time in the kitchen. Show of hands if you’d like a granola fix!

'Tis the season for hearty granola! After baking for my sweet friend Sherrie to feed runners at the Sanders Saunter Trail Race, I realized that The Local Buzz is missing in my life. With our recent move and my new kitchen, I needed the nudge to get back to baking. I've got several Christmas orders on deck so if you'd like to add to it, I suggest getting your order in early! There's a bake sale going on at KU Cancer Center in the atrium until 1pm today. There's some granola and lots of other delicious goodies for sale! Proceeds benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Abbey Brockman for BrockWoman of the Year! All profits from granola orders for the months of March, April, and May will go toward Abbey's Woman of the Year campaign!

There is a Cancerversary Blend in the oven right now. It features the Original Blend ingredients (pumpkin seeds, cranberries, almonds) but I used grapeseed oil instead of olive oil, organic coconut sugar instead of brown sugar and added maple syrup and h**p seed. It's not for sale yet, but I'm so excited!!
