New stops. Same great corn.

The 2026 tour just got bigger.

Wellington, Lafayette, Westminster, Canon City, Bernalillo, and Santa Fe are all confirmed this season.

For our Albuquerque friends: we combined our two stops into one bigger 3-hour window at Tractor Supply on 2nd Street NW.

Already have a presale order? Just show up at any stop on the tour.

Presale boxes are $20. Prices will begin to increase after this week.

We get a lot of questions about buying Olathe Sweet™ Sweet Corn seed, and we appreciate every one of them.

We do not sell seed. We are growers.

If you are looking to grow your own, two local retailers in Olathe, Colorado carry it for retail sale:

Producers Co-op — Olathe, CO
(970) 323-5764

Olathe True Value Hardware — Olathe, CO
(970) 323-5708

One thing worth knowing, the seed is red because it is treated. That is a coating applied to the seed before sale. Please do not eat it. Keep it away from children and pets, and handle it accordingly before planting.

We are not affiliated with either retailer and are not aware of their shipping practices, so we recommend reaching out to them directly to check on availability.

We need your help, Colorado and New Mexico!

Every summer we load up the trucks and bring Olathe Sweet Sweet Corn straight from the Western Slope to your communities, and this year your town might be the reason we can make it happen.

We want to be upfront with you. Our truck tour is the only way to get Tuxedo Corn directly from us this summer, and our corn is going to be harder to find than in years past. These stops are how we get outside of Olathe, and every host we cannot find is a community that misses out.

We still need hosts in:
• Westminster, CO
• Woodland Park, CO
• Longmont, CO
• Broomfield, CO
• Berthoud / Johnstown, CO
• Commerce City, CO
• Canon City, CO
• Bernalillo, NM
• Rio Rancho, NM

If you know a farm store, hardware store, fairgrounds, restaurant, or really any business with a parking lot in these areas, please tag them below or send them our way. These stops are how we get corn outside of Olathe, and without hosts we simply cannot get there.

Share this post and help us spread the word. We appreciate it more than you know!

We're in planting season on the Western Slope — and we're already planning how to get fresh Olathe Sweet™ Sweet Corn directly to you this summer.

This year our corn may be harder to find. We're growing less and delivering directly to your town with TWO trucks across Wyoming, New Mexico, and Colorado. Because we believe you deserve to know exactly where your food comes from.

Presale boxes are $20. Price goes up as the season progresses. Ordering now helps us plan — and guarantees you a box when the truck rolls into your area.

Many stops are confirmed and ready to order. More locations being added weekly.

Planting continues and is ramping up. Beautiful day today in Olathe. This is Al's field. We are taking pre-orders. These help us manage risk and are therefore deeply discounted.

Seeds contain the genetic material that decides if the corn will be tender, creamy and sweet. We picked these seeds specifically for that. Not the highest yielding. Not the easiest to grow.

We are planting corn and we couldn’t be more grateful to begin another season.

Watered with snowmelt from Colorado’s mountains.

Every ear hand-picked.

Non-GMO seed chosen for incredible flavor.

Flowers planted near our fields to welcome beneficial insects.

That’s how we farm. And we’re proud of it.

This season, we’re focusing on getting our corn directly to the people who love it most and in a way that we know the quality carries through from the farm to the table.

Pre-orders are now open, and every order helps us plan the season ahead and grow for the demand of our community.

We are scaling back this season. It was not an easy call, but it is the right one for our family and our farm. David said it best: "It's exciting and it's fun."

If you want to get your corn this summer, pre-order at tuxedocorn.com/shop.

For now, our trucks are coming to communities across Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico. If you are outside of these areas but are passionate about getting the best sweet corn let us know and we will see what we can do.

And if you want to support the way we farm, there is a Support the Farm option on the site too.

Onions are in the ground.

That's the tractor and planter running right now. We're working through onion planting and sweet corn is next up.

Water situation on the Western Slope hasn't improved much. We're still well below where we need to be. It's going to be a tight year from the start. Not much margin for error.

We plant anyway. That's the job. And we'll grow the best crop we can with what we've got.

More updates as the season moves.

This is the current snowpack for our area right now.

We’re sitting at about 28% of normal.

That’s not great.

Water is where everything starts for us. If it’s not there, everything else gets harder.

Less water means more stress on the crop. When the crop is stressed, pests get worse. Then you’re making tougher decisions on how to deal with that. At the same time, costs keep going up across the board.

Some years are smooth. Some aren’t.

We’ll figure it out like we always do, but this is definitely shaping up to be a tougher one.

This data comes from USDA NRCS snowpack monitoring (SNOTEL sites across Colorado)

We opened up the early pre-sale boxes for the Olathe Sweet truck tour a few days ago and the response has already been great.

It always surprises us how early people start thinking about Olathe Sweet™ Sweet Corn, but we get it… once you’ve had it, you start looking forward to it all year.

Right now we have pre-sale boxes open for a few general regions while we work on the actual truck tour schedule.

If you already know you want some when the season hits, reserving early helps us plan how much corn to pick and where the trucks need to go.

We’ll start announcing the actual stops once harvest gets closer.

If you want to grab a box early you can do that here:

Appreciate all the support every season.
