My husband asked me recently if I had a storefront would I do bagels- I said “no, pita.” Didn’t even have to think about it.

Thanks for all your orders. I’ve been making pita bread for family and friend gatherings for years. Thought it about time to share with you all.

Watch me make 100 pita on Wednesday. Thanks for the very generous orders this week. I will definitely be working for them. Usually something I just make for family or friends. But that’s what we are now right?

I bought apples today at the farmers market & remembered the applesauce rye loaf and how we are so close to being able to have it again.

Apples, pumpkin, ginger, molasses, rye, clove, you know all the flavors- summer has her grip on the next few weeks but FALL IS NEAR

Great weather today yea?
Thanks for showing up to both markets. Old Lou was a slow & steady morning, deer park the usual get it done crowd. Tried out one of the new banners, love it.

Got offered a job to start a bread program at a boutique hotel. Tempting.

Toasted sesame loaves were gorgeous 👒

Been at it this week. Lovely fresh flour makes lovely nutritious dough. Rye bread & maple spelt loaves (on repeat).

The maple spelt loaf has me on my toes- I WILL get a perfect proof on it so there is no tear. I don’t REALLY care all that much but it has eluded me and I accept it as a challenge.
