Due to the ongoing E. coli issue with the Connecticut Water Company, our local Health Department has recommended all food service businesses close until it is resolved.

In the best interest of our customers, Atlantic Seafood will be closed today. We will let everyone know once we have the green light to reopen.

Atlantic Seafood Market will be open normal business hours this weekend, with lots of great seafood choices available.

If you're ordering ahead for the holiday weekend, orders will be accepted through 6pm today (Thursday).

Hot lobster orders will continue to be accepted throughout the weekend, depending on lobster inventory and stove capacity.

OPAH IS BACK! We are excited to have this wild-caught Hawaiian fish back in the Atlantic Seafood Market case this weekend! Come visit us and check out this delicious, colorful fish with the polka dot skin.

What is opah?

Opah (aka moonfish) is a large, deep-water fish known for its firm, buttery texture and beautiful color that ranges from pink to salmon to orange. Its flavor profiles combine elements of tuna, salmon and, surprisingly, beef! You can enjoy it prepared in a variety of ways, including grilling, broiling, baking, and steaming. While delicious with just salt and pepper, it also pairs well with a garlic herb butter sauce or seared tomatoes with garlic.
