Reviving Olean: A Farmers Market at the Old Feed Mill

The Old Feed Mill has been standing longer than most of us. It’s seen dust, sweat, long days, and hard years. It’s been quiet too—too quiet—for a long time.

We’re done with that.

This isn’t a renovation for the sake of looks. It’s a resurrection.

Brick by brick, beam by beam, the Old Feed Mill is coming back to life—not polished, not perfect, but real. The kind of place that still carries its scars. The kind of place that means something.

Every other Sunday, those doors will open again.

Not for what it was—but for what it can be now.

A farmers market built on grit. Local produce hauled in by the people who grew it. Bread that didn’t come from a factory. Goods made by hand, sold face to face. No middleman. No nonsense.

Just people showing up.

This is about putting something back into Olean that time tried to take out. A reason to gather. A place that feels alive again. Something honest.

The Old Feed Mill isn’t being saved.

It’s being put back to work.
