Happy baking day! Delicious treats have been pumping out of our ovens!

Customers today are not the only ones visiting us. The past two days a hyalomorph moth has been on the side of the storefront-likely waiting out our recent storms. If you’re fortunate enough to get to observe it, please don’t harm or disturb it. Wildlife is as important here as anything. Enjoy!

Oh my gosh, I just went to Karenia Townsend and picked up some of their gelato this week. Strawberry chocolate if you haven’t tried some of their gelato, I highly recommend it. It is so delicious and fresh.

🚧 A Huge Thank You From Bide-A-Wee Acres Farm Store 🚧

We want to thank everyone for being so patient with us this week during construction at the farm store. We truly appreciate all the kindness, understanding, and support while we worked to improve the front entrance for everyone.

The new walkway is now in and we’re so happy with how it turned out! We still have the porch borders to finish, and the roof and arbour changes are still to come, but things are really starting to come together.

Here’s a look at the finished walkway — along with Michael Whitley finally getting a chance to sit back and admire all his hard work after many long hours. 👏

We can’t wait to show you the finished project over the next few weeks. Thank you again for supporting local and growing with us here at Bide-A-Wee Acres Farm Store! 🌾

🌱🍓 LOCAL RHUBARB SEASON IS HERE! 🍓🌱

We’ve officially outsourced and gathered beautiful fresh rhubarb from local gardens all around the county to make our homemade strawberry rhubarb crisps! There’s just something special about using locally grown ingredients picked right from backyard gardens and family patches. ❤️

Our strawberry rhubarb crisps are the perfect balance of sweet strawberries and tangy rhubarb topped with a buttery golden oat crumble. Every bite is warm, comforting, and packed with old-fashioned homemade flavor that brings back memories of Grandma’s kitchen. The juicy fruit filling paired with the crisp topping makes this one of our favorite spring desserts. Serve it warm on its own or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the perfect treat. 🍨

These have quickly become a customer favorite and quantities are limited each weekend while local rhubarb lasts!

🚧 Farm Store Construction Update 🚧

Things are coming along nicely here at Bide-A-Wee Acres! We’re making great progress on our new patio area and we’re hoping to have the new walkway installed in time for this weekend.

If you stop by the store, please continue to watch your step and be mindful of uneven ground and small tripping hazards while construction is underway. We truly appreciate everyone’s patience and support while we work to make the farm store even better for you all! ❤️

We’re still OPEN this week!

If you happen to stop by, please use a little extra caution—we’re in the process of putting in a new brick patio out front. There may be some uneven areas and tripping hazards, so please watch your step while visiting.

We appreciate your patience while we make improvements and can’t wait for you to see the finished space!

🥚 Good news! We’ve also decided to lower the price on our fresh farm eggs to just $4 a dozen for the season.
