The Onancock Market Vendor-Produced Farmers & Artisans Market offering the best local food and qualified art to shoppers who want to buy directly from the source.

Every Saturday, May-November, 9am-Noon at the Corner of Market and Ames Streets. The Onancock Market is a 501(c)3 volunteer-driven organization, which was established in 2012 for the purpose of providing a venue for local farmers, watermen and artisans to offer their fresh, seasonal, and locally grown and manufactured products and qualified art directly to residents and visitors in the community.

It is a vendor-produced only market, which means that shoppers can buy direct from the source. And meet them, too! The Indoor Winter Market is open in 20 Market St, 9 to Noon Saturdays December thru April. The Spring-Summer-Fall Outdoor Market is open in the lot at Market & Ames Sts, 9 to Noon Saturdays May thru October.

THANK YOU ONANCOCK ROTARY! Onancock Market Manager, Theresa Van Dessel, (center) joined several other non-profit service organization representatives on Tuesday to accept generous donations for their organizations from the Onancock Rotary. The Onancock Market Board will use this award to further the Winter Market Project they are currently undertaking. When complete, the project will ensure a permanent indoor home for the Winter Market at 20 Market Street.
