TFM is hiring for a part-time Marketing Support & Social Media Manager—

The Marketing Support & Social Media Manager helps Tulsa Farmers’ Market tell its story, promote its weekly markets and programs, and connect our community with local farmers, ranchers, food producers, sponsors, and partners.

We are looking for someone who is: FUN! Creative and curious, organized and dependable, friendly and personable, and a strong story teller.

Remember that tumor they removed from my 3 year old daughter's lung last month?

Turns out it is an ultra rare and aggressive cancer.

It grew additionally to the size of a lemon in 41 days.

She's going to be starting chemo and radiation next week.

It's going to be a hard next couple of years.

She's probably going to be admitted to St Jude's in Memphis quite often.

We also have a four-month-old son so that's another part of the equation.

I would like to spend as much time as possible with my family because frankly we don't know much time we have with her.

Best-case scenario, we have nine months of intense chemo and radiation in front of us.

That's assuming it hasn't spread to her brain, which this cancer likes to do.

And that's in addition to her already having cystic fibrosis, a terminal lung disease.

All the generous donors behind St Jude's means they cover almost all the medical and travel costs but it's not an income replacement.

I have to keep working since there's no foreseeable end date.

So going forward, I'll try to keep my schedule going, but I'll have to take it day by day.

If you need spoons sharpened, please reach out.

I'll try to stay consistent at the Tulsa Farmers Market and with mobile appointments as best I can.

I just ask for your patience as I may be forced to reschedule, and I won't be able to respond some days.

There is good news, though.

All things work together for good for those who love God.

Somehow this will become a blessing.

Every little thing about my daughter has been a blessing, even if I don't notice it in the moment.

I've learned every moment of a child's life is a precious gift from God,

Every minute we have with our daughter is a blessing.

The Lord giveth, and the Lord taketh away.

Super cool shot of pollen being stored in one of the bee hives today.

My youngest son is still selling a limited number of bee nucs to help pay for college tuition next year and I spent some time helping him in the bee yards today. He graduated from junior college yesterday and is looking forward to a new school and new challenges next year.
