Hi friends!

We have been busy getting our market garden ready, and the next big milestone is officially underway. Garden beds are being shaped and irrigation lines are being dug as we get closer to transplant day. In the next week or so, those rows will start filling up with young plants and we cannot wait to watch everything grow.

This stage is one of our favorites because it is where all the planning turns into real progress. More details are coming soon as we get plants in the ground and share what will be growing this season.

Hi friends!

It has been a little while since our last update, but things are moving right along at JT&D Farm. We have been busy getting our greenhouse set up and starting seeds for the vegetables we plan to offer this summer. We are growing a mix of super-hot, mild, and bell peppers, along with broccoli, zucchini, yellow squash, cucumbers, butternut squash, cauliflower, cantaloupe, and romaine.

We will share more details soon about when and where you will be able to find us once our produce is ready. We are excited to get everything growing and even more excited to start sharing it with you.

Big news, friends!

After 20 years as a software engineer at Microsoft, I have made a major change and started a small farm here in Orangeburg, SC.

Danelle and I are at the very beginning of this journey, but we are fully committed to building JT&D Farm into a beautiful and welcoming place where you can pick your own produce, with a main focus on blueberries, and shop for local goods in our farm store.

We will soon be planting thousands of blueberry plants, developing the land, and creating the infrastructure that will eventually become the farm we envision. If you would like to follow along as we build this from the ground up, please follow our new page, JT&D Farm.

We plan to open to the public in the summer of 2027, and we look forward to sharing every step along the way.
