So, today we gave away 100 free ham dinners, but people in need kept calling asking if they can receive a free ham dinner... so I decided to give away 80 more dinners... which brought todays total to 180... but the phones kept ringing. People shared their stories with me, and I sympathized with them and their situation. I wish I could help them, but sadly I had to turn them away as I ran out of supplies.
One thing I learned through this is, there are a lot of people that are alone and are in need of a good meal. Some people depend on the good deeds of others, some people are just going through a tough time, others have put their life on the line (to protect our country and our freedoms) and just need a little help.
So, in the near future I will be planning another free ham dinner giveaway. I'm still working on a plan and a date so that we can reach more people.
I'd like to say thanks to Richard and Melissa Topolski for making deliveries today... Kyle Fraser and Channel 7 for the free TV commercials... Jay Topolski, EJ Frese, and Kylie Bucholtz... this could not have been done without these people.

Working with some awesome people who have a kind heart, we were able to give away 100 FREE ham dinners to people in need.
Special thanks to Tracy MaHaney, Dan King, Donna Mann, and the Tabernacle in Orchard Park for all their help in picking up and distributing the dinners.

Wednesday, April 1st and Wednesday April 8th
Gold N Ham will be providing 100 ham dinners (FREE of Charge, no string attached) for anyone who is in need of a delicious meal.
The individualy packed meals will consist of:
* A serving of our spiral cut ham
* A serving of mashed potatoes
* A serving of green beans
All packed in a microwaveable container
If you are in need, or know of anyone in need, (an elderly couple, a struggling family, a friend or neighbor, etc) please call Gold N Ham and speak to me (Jason) about reserving meals to help those in this time of need.
