Perogies from Fork'd are back! They are in the small freezer in the back room. We've got strawberries and spinach and sweet potatoes galore.

And I will absolutely take your 2" and 4" round and square pots, and 4-packs and 6-packs, to stash for next year's Plant Sale. If you are leaving them here after hours, please stick them in the walk-in cooler around the side so they don't blow all over 309.💚

Yesterday was our last day with our first group of job training students from the Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living. For six weeks, these teens woke up on a Saturday for an 8-hour farm shift. They learned how to plant, harvest, restock, log a timesheet, and work as a team with students they hadn't met before the program began. They were constantly excited and willing to learn.

I love hosting this program. If you are a business owner interested in offering really important opportunities for teens, I would be happy to speak with you about my experiences with LVCIL.
