It's market day! We're supposed to have beautiful weather today, so come out and join us!
The Utica Zoo-mobile will be here in the gazebo from 3 to 5 pm. Bring the whole family and learn about wild creatures from their animal ambassadors and zookeepers!
From 6-7 pm, we will have Revolutionary Wellness Yoga in the park led by certified instructor Tami Kraeger. If you've ever wanted to start a fitness routine or learn more about yoga, this is a great opportunity. Tami teaches all age groups and abilities. If you're looking for gentler exercise in retirement or getting back to a fitness routine and want your kids to be able to learn too, this is a wonderful chance to get some movement into your schedule.
On the docket today for booths, we have:
Cottonwood Handmade & Little Squeeze Lemonade - Kelley will have soaps, lotions, honey, maple syrup, and fresh produce available while Nora serves up cold beverages (starting at 3 pm).
Oriskany Ladies Fire Auxiliary Raffle - they have a new raffle format this year, so be sure to check it out!
Oriskany Museum Gift Shop (2:30-5:30 pm outside) - a brand new selection of toys, documents/maps, and crafting kits especially for the 250th, along with Oriskany postcards, notecards, pins, magnets and more!
Fire Dept Pierogi Station - Support your local fire department and stock your freezer at the same time! Their pierogis come in different flavors, frozen in batches - perfect for a quick dinner!
The Neighborhood Center, will be here with information about community services. They offer a wide array of services in the Utica-Rome area, including child care, mental health programs, and help navigating health insurance registration.
GYRO QUEEN needs no introduction! Stop by and see Antoinette for a gyro bowl, wrap, or steak sandwich on the way home and skip the cooking tonight! Eat it right here in the park and skip the dishes, too!
We hope you will join us today. We know folks get busy or the weather doesn't cooperate, but this is a community market and your attendance is what keeps us going.
