Beeschting Brothers

Beeschting Brothers Beeschting Brothers is a small midwest raw honey provider, that bottles limited quantities of honey Mmmmmmm. Every bottle of Beeschting Brothers honey is pure.

Beeschting Brothers we live by one simple rule, let the bees do all the hard work. Call us lazy, or slackers, but we are just plain confident that our bees are doing their best without us getting in the middle of them. Bees know and select the best flowers to gather pollen and the sweetest nectar to make Beesching Brothers. It’s so tempting and delicious that after one taste, you’ll be using our r

aw honey in everything from sweeting tea to baking you special occasion ham, or on a slice of warm toast. Harvested by hand, and lightly filtered with all its goodness. Our honey is never pasteurized so it retains it’s natural health benefits. Each bottle is carefully filled and labeled and marked very own label in limited batches. Dark or Light, What’s up? While Beeschting Brother's bees are local to the Orland Park area, each batch is unique based upon the harvest time and the flowers that are in bloom. A mid-season harvest my be quite light in color, made from clover and dandelions with a mild taste. One surprised customer said it has a floral flavor that he never tasted in commercial honey, describing it as, “fantastic!” A late fall harvest yields a deeper golden color and a stronger flavor as goldenrod comes into bloom in Illinois. Rest assured, your next bottle of Beeschting Brothers honey will be direct from the honeycomb and full of flavor. Order your’s today before our next limited batch is sold out! Our Story
Beeschting Brothers origins began well over 50 years ago when my grandpa brought me to his beehives in Germany. I was just a little boy back then and really didn’t realize the impact that that harvest would have on me over 30 years later. In fact, after being stung, I had very little interest in bees, but I still loved his honey! My grandpa kept his hives in “bee houses,” which is a small shed-like structure with multiple hives. From the outside, bees would see their entrances marked with symbols, such as a red circle, or a red diamond to find their ways into their hives. Harvest after harvest, the town’s people of Freindorf would seek out my grandpa for his pure dark honey from the forests from where his bee houses stood for many years. Year’s later I realized the passion he had for beekeeping, and I felt the timing was right to bring beekeeping back to our family as Beeschting Brothers. Beeschting Brothers began in 2015 with two hives in a small town called Ferryville, Wisconson, which is just one mile east of the Mississippi River. It’s a beautiful and remote place of rolling hills and small farms, that come alive with a variety of wildflowers in the spring … it’s basically a bee paradise. In 2016, Beeschting Brothers built and installed two more hives in the Orland Park, Illinois area and had its first harvest in July the same year. If you were lucky enough, you may have purchased a bottle from our very first harvest before we sold out. Congratulations! Going forward, we at Beeschting Brothers plan to expand our apiary and continue to deliver the purest local raw honey, while keeping my grandpa’s passion alive within the family.

If you’re looking for local raw honey, I just harvested a batch. Plenty of sizes to choose from. 🙂

Hi everyone. I just whipped up a batch of creamed honey. For those that don't know, creamed honey is the same Beeschting Brothers honey we call know, but it's spreadable... like butter. I have it in natural honey flavor, and also with cinnamon. I love it on toast, and my wife enjoys it her coffee instead of sugar.

Hi everyone. I wanted to share with you some video of our very busy bee hives last weekend. These 3 are located near my office in Warrenville. If you look closely you may see some yellow on there rear legs. That’s pollen from goldenrod that they use to raise their baby bees.

We harvested honey this past weekend from my hives in Orland and Homer Glen this weekend. If you’re interested please visit our website to order some! :)
