We’ll be at the YMCA in The Packing District from 10AM–3PM with local vendors, food, activities and plenty of reasons to actually leave the house

Come shop. Bring the kids. Meet up with somebody you haven’t seen in forever. Bring the dog. Or come alone and meet somebody new!

No membership needed. You don’t have to live in College Park. You don’t have to know anybody.

Just come. 💛

🥹💚 Wow. This one means a lot.

The Local Habit Community Initiative was voted a Best of Florida 2026 Honorable Mention Charitable Organizations.

And when we saw this, our first thought was really just… wow. People voted for us. People took the time to say that what we’re building matters.

That means everything.

We are still building. Still learning. Still figuring things out. Still having moments where things don’t go exactly as planned. But through all of it, this community continues to show up.

You come to the events. You support the vendors. You bring your children. You tell your friends. You volunteer. You partner with us. You share our posts. You give us feedback. You encourage us. And most importantly, you keep believing in what this can become.

The Local Habit has never just been about events.

It’s about people.

It’s about knowing your neighbor. Supporting the person who took a chance and started a business. Giving a child space to dream bigger. Making sure people know where to find help when they need it. Creating spaces where you can come alone and leave knowing somebody.

We want community to feel normal again.

And we have SO much more to build.

So thank you. Seriously.

Thank you to every single person who voted for us and every person who has been part of this community in any way.

And above everything, we thank God. For the vision, for the people, for the doors that have opened and even for the ones that didn’t.

This is really special. 🥹
