Harvested some wild seeded bananas yesterday.
You’re more than welcome to come pick a couple up if you’d like to try them. The taste is delicious, but the seeds are a smidge on the heavy side 🙂 custardy sweet with 40-50 seeds per bite!

Garden got a summer overhaul.

Sweet potatoes, peanuts, cowpeas, Nigerian spinach, Egyptian spinach, long beans, pumpkins, butterfly pea and a few other trials going on.

Peanuts and sweet potstoes are long term (September-October).

Seminole pumpkins are coming in nice- 2/$3
Bananas are on their way.
Starfruit will hopefully bloom again soon.

I will have a steady supply of beans for the next couple of weeks. Also, I have onions - $1.25/lb, with some fresh garlic 2/$1.

The garden will very quickly flip to summer time here in the coming weeks- sweet potatoes, cowpeas, peanuts, tropical spinaches. Most of this is long season growing- 3-4 month harvest time.
