A Father’s Day spent checking on some cows! Here are two cows that raised bull calves for us last year. Both share OCC Unmistakable on the topside of the pedigree. One being a direct daughter and one through Sackmann Unmistakeable 549. They’ve been solid producers and are doing it again this year. They know how to get it done, stay in flesh and both have bred first-service AI for three years straight. Both of their calves by Montana Judgement 1038 and Square B Atlantis 8060 are on track to be in the sale next year!

Another update on these embryo calves! This one’s a standout for sure. Bruin Torque 5261 heifer out of the flush of our Donor, Montana Donna 8085! I don’t think this one will be going on the truck in the fall 😎

I was able to go take a look at the lot #1 bull from our sale out with some heifers today. Very thankful for our good friends and neighbors taking a chance on our program and investing in our genetics. It is truly humbling to see the hard work and time we have put into our program out working in a pasture. Looking forward to seeing how this bull does and using him back in our herd!

We had the best little helpers at branding today. Watching all the kids take over jobs this year and work hard while doing it was the best thing to see. 😊

EMBRYO CALVES! Little update on the calves out of our donor, Montana Donna 8085. We got all heifers out of the eggs we put in, which we are not complaining about. So we will hopefully have 6 daughters to put back into the herd. This calf is out of BRUIN TORQUE 5261 and is already looking great at a month old. They have great top width and carry it through the flank well… just how we like it. Looking forward to seeing how these girls look at weaning

Our very first bull sale and our hearts are full. Thank you to all the neighbors, friends, and supporters who showed up, believed in us, and helped make this possible. We are so grateful. We are already looking forward to next year.
