Looks like Mother Nature finally decided to cooperate and we should be in the clear from frost! 🌱☀️

Plant starts are officially available now at Garden Chicks Farm & Yard! We currently have a variety of flower starts and veggie starts ready to go, with even more veggie varieties coming as the season keeps rolling along.

We also have bags of mulch available to help get those gardens and flower beds looking sharp for the season! 🌼

Whether you’re filling the garden beds, sprucing up the porch pots, or trying to convince yourself this is the year the weeds won’t win… we’ve got you covered. 😂

It’s been one of those weeks here at Garden Chicks Farm & Yard… you know, the kind where you’re not quite sure what day or time it is but you know you’ve been busy 😅

Between knocking out a bunch of jobs for clients and our own farm duties. Raised bed rebuilding, garden fence enclosure repairs, flower bed maintenance, keeping up with our regular property maintenance schedule, baking & deliveries, greenhouse hustle, and keeping all the critters (and the toddler) happy—we’ve been movin’ nonstop.

Now we’re rollin’ right into another week and it’s lookin’ like: rototilling gardens, mowing lawns, wrangling the "last" of those stubborn fall leaves, gutter cleaning, baking up the good stuff… and whatever else decides to pop up (because it always does).

Around here, we don’t plan the week—the week/ weather plans us 🌱🛠️ The to-do list writes itself but the paperwork doesn't do it on its own.
Let’s see what this week throws our way!
Stay tuned… it’s bound to be a good one.

Oops… the dough did it again and multiplied in the oven 🤷‍♀️😂

Ended up with 1 pan of 4 large brioche cinnamon buns smothered in maple frosting 🍁🤤 — and they’re looking REAL hard to share…

Between spring cleanups, garden prep, the greenhouse, animals, and the toddler… we somehow still got a good bit of baking done this week 🐓

These maple cinnamon buns are oh so yummy 🤤🍁 Soft, gooey, and loaded with real Vermont maple.

And the sourdough English muffins… mmmmm… crispy outside, fluffy inside.

What’s a day off anyway… is that like a holiday or something? 😅

🐐 These are our goats… the ones that don’t get much publicity around here.

They might not lay eggs, bake bread, or mow lawns — but they sure keep the place lively. 💚

Both of these two were bottle raised right here at Garden Chicks Farm & Yard, and now they’re living their best life as full-time pasture pets. Plenty of hay, sunshine, and the occasional snack when they think nobody’s looking....even some plastic Easter eggs that the Easter bunny left for Oakley. 🌿😄

Sometimes the quiet workers of the farm don’t get the spotlight… but they’re just as much a part of our crew.
