Sometimes, blessings are in the form of roses.

Doesn't always take much to bless someone. A smile, simple conversation, listening to them or even flowers. It is more about showing someone you care about them or simply respect them as an equal person.

Not even the best sunrise but still beautiful in the calm, cool wind of the morning. The only real noise is from the birds and roosters.

Love the mornings when I am the first up and there is just peace. It is so easy to see all the simple wonders God has created if we were to simply take the time, be quiet, and still. This is just one of the reasons I love gardening and wouldn't give it up.

At the market the other day, another stand was simply Cushing sales, way more than I ever would expect, however, every once and awhile I heard them mention how much work they had done and how tired they were. I am sure this was just being truthful .
It made me think how much do I work? It's probably way more than I realize.

It doesn't feel like work it feels like an escape to nature (okay maybe not w**ding,it sucks) if I was to calculate my time and profit it completely is not worth it at this time. Financially I am a failure at this, still got the kinks to work out, however I absolutely love this.

The life of working in the dirt, being there for my kids, talking to people at the market, bringing smiles to people who get the flowers.

Forgot till the last person to take pictures of all the bouquets made. It was fun watching everyone design, and what the...

Opening day for the farm stand. Always nervous, wondering if people would like anything we have made.

Very excited to have Lorlens making the wonderful Sourdough goodies.

Problem with me letting w**ds grow so I can use them in my salve. Plantain is a great medicinal plant.

My stock looked rough before I let the w**ds grow. I do have a w**d problem but so far I have kept them at bay from harming my plants.

I will have to do research on how market farmers keep w**ds at bay. My guess is buy some tarps and plant in straight rows.
