Empire Fruit, Inc. is not taking applications for a Quality Control Technician for our applesauce line. Employee will need to have an understanding of OSHA regulations; possess a high regard for safety in the workplace; be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted ; Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company; Identify safety hazards in the workplace and notify supervisor when a hazard is observed; Follow Good Manufacturing Practices; Conduct standardized monitoring on products and materials to ensure compliance with standards and regulations; Document data obtained during quality assurance activities consistent with HACCP standards and company policies and procedures; Records test data such as weights, temperatures, qualities and quantities; Applies proper acceptance/rejection criteria and marks items with such details; Audits production facility and reviews employee behavior for proper sanitation; any other duties or assignments as instructed by Empire Fruit, Inc. management. The employee must be a team worker and must be willing to step up as a leader. The employee must be responsible and reliable. English speaking/writing is preferred.
